March has been full of fun here in room 3! We have been enjoying lots of guest readers and enjoying some great HES Loves to read activities like: Drop Everything And Read, Poetry Breaks, Dressing as A Favorite Character, Vocabulary Word Walks, and Book Breaks.

In reading, we have been studying series books. We have been working in our book clubs to learn about the characters and how books in a series tend to go. In writing, we have been working on our gripping stories. We are including dialogue, gripping words, strong feelings, lessons, and actions to really engage the reader. In math, we are finishing up our unit on data, graphing, and measurement. We will be taking our unit assessment next week. The class has done a great job this month. I am so proud of all their hard work!
