We had a wonderful afternoon at the HES Halloween parade! The kids were so excited to dress up and show off their costumes! I would like to thank the room parents for organizing the treats and activities and the families that were able to join us in the classroom to continue the celebration. These are the wonderful days that our kiddos will remember forever!

October is Fire Safety month. Last Thursday, we were lucky enough to have the Haddam Fire Dept. visit HES to teach us about fire safety. We also got to tour the fire truck and learn about some very important tools.

This morning, we worked hard to create pictures for those affected by the hurricane in Puerto Rico. Students created cheerful images to brighten the days of those who are still dealing with issues from the hurricane. The pictures will be sent down in care packages that will be delivered by a local resident traveling down to offer assistance.
