As we continue to learn about counting collections of coins and bills, we used what we know to buy things from the creature store. Each student started with a certain amount of money, planning their shopping list, bought their items and made change... and finally created their creatures! Check it out below!

Our current unit of study in reading focuses on nonfiction reading clubs. Students have selected topics they are interested in learning more about and they are working with their club to dig into this topic. Students are taking notes and having discussions to learn more about their topics. They are also using their research in writing, when they are writing science books to teach about their topics.
