Welcome to Second Grade! We are very excited to spend this year growing and learning with your child. We will use this page to keep you up to date with the units of study we are working on. We are off to a wonderful start so far this year! We will spend the first few days getting to know each other and our classroom and school routines. We have been practicing the HES Way (Honor, Effort, Success) by using our "PAWS"itive behaviors. These behaviors are posted throughout the school and stand for:

W - Work and play safely
S - Show respect
There will be many ways for your child to earn "golden paws" throughout the school for showing PAWS behaviors.
